Return & Refund Policy for SmartMethods

No Returns or Refunds for Change of Mind

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for change-of-mind decisions on Activator instruments or accessories. All sales are final once the order is confirmed. Activator Australia

Warranty Exceptions Only

The only exceptions to this policy involve manufacturer defect coverage. All instruments come with a limited manufacturer warranty, valid from the date of delivery:

  • Activator I, II, EZ Grip II, ARIV, EZ Grip IV instruments: 2-year warranty
  • Activator V instrument: 1-year warranty

If your instrument malfunctions or breaks under normal use within the warranty period, you may request a replacement directly through Activator Methods International as per the warranty instructions included with your original purchase. SmartMethods (Activator Australia) can assist you with this process if needed.

What Void the Warranty?

Warranty claims will not be accepted under the following conditions:

  • Instruments that are scratched, dented, cracked, broken, dropped, tampered with, disassembled, or submerged in water.

Gift Cards

  • All gift cards are non-refundable and valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  • Gift card value can only be redeemed with Activator Australia (SmartPractice Trust ABN: 23 813 605 406) and cannot be redeemed with Activator Methods U.S.A.

  • Please allow 10–14 business days for the processing and delivery of warranty-related instrument replacements
